2010-06-27 Sun Ribbon Arete Temple Crag
Sun Ribbon Arete 5.10a 20 pitches:
Saturday: Approach to third lake. Ate an amazing cinnabon and jumped
in the freezing glacier water. Kicked steps and hauled gear to the base
of the climb.
Sunday: Woke up at 3am. Climbed the arete. Simulclimbed 13 pitches,
Soloed 3 pitches, pitched out 4. Topped out in 8.5 hours. Glissaded
the majority of the descent. Made it back to camp round trip 13 hours.
Back at car total 16.5 hours.
Great day in the Sierras.
